This is an old poem that I wrote when I was around 14 (I believe). Hope you guys enjoy.



Living up to expectations, their souls they will sell,
One glance at you and I was under your spell.
Swept me right off my feet,
I'll admit to my defeat.
You've captured my queen, stole my pawn,
Give me ruby red slippers with a wave of your wand.
I never thought life could feel this good,
Until I met you, I guess I never understood.
I never knew what loving you could do to me,
But now that we're apart I see.
Constant thoughts of you and I,
With you is where I want to lie.
Day after day,
Pick my soul away.
Find comfort in my arms,
I'll keep you safe from harm.
This is where it's safe to be,
One on one, you and me.
